“This project has really excited us.”  Being part of the North American Office (NAO) and having the Lord ask us as a NAO team to step out in faith and place our feet on all 86 Omega Zones within the North American Continent to pray and intercede for God to begin new and unique ministries to meet the needs of the inhabitants within each zone thrills us.

Consider Psalms 2:7-8 and the decree of the Lord: “Ask of Me an I will give you the nations as Your inheritance.”  We desire as servants of the Lord to present these peoples to the Lord.  YWAM began in 1960 with our Founder Loren Cunningham beginning a quest to place his feet on the soil of every nation on earth to pray for God to begin a work among the people of that nation.

North America has Omega Zones also and many of them have little or no stabilized ministry, let alone YWAM ministry within them.  Following the same format that Loren Cunningham’s visit has had upon all the nations of this world as he set his feet upon them, we, as a North American Office team want to accomplish the same goal within the North American Continent.

Our format will be to try to visit each YWAM ministry if there is one in that Omega Zone.  If schedule does not allow for that we will visit with the Director or leaders via Conference call when we are on their soil.  Then we will wait upon the Lord for His Words dreams and vision for the Zone after which we will intercede for and call into being His Words we believe we heard in prayer.  After we are back home we will report to our North American Office team and compile our Zone Report and make sure all the YWAM ministries within that Zone receive a copy.

Please be praying for us in this project.  As I write this, we have personally stepped into 11 of the Omega Zones in North America.
