“The Year Ahead Preview”

Wow, 2019 is here! Finally, unless you were in Daytona, that is. Either way, it’s time to shake off the rust, boredom, and time to fire west coast engines!
This being our first event and in Las Vegas with the National Series I invited Billy Mauldin, our MRO President and National Series Chaplain/Pastor to speak in our Chapel time, if there is time for one. I know you will hear what the Cup and Xfinity Series will hear this weekend.
Therefore, for the written message, I thought about an incredible scripture, one of the most important ones that God has spoken to us as we consider our lives and times in 2019. Please take time to break it down and unpack its riches that He placed in it for us to dwell upon. Here it is:
Ephesians 3: 16-19 “I pray that out of His glorious, unlimited resources that He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love you may be able to comprehend with all the Lord’s Holy saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth of His love for you, and then, because of this knowledge, may you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” (GBB)
Let me help you break this down to unpack it for you:

Yeah, ponder that!!!
Next: …that He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner person,…
Next: that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith,
Next: so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love…
Next: …you may be able to comprehend with all the Lord’s Holy saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth of His love for you,
Next: and then, because of this knowledge, may you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully.
Next: Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
So, Wow! Did you digest all of that? Yeah, it is ALL available to us! You can chew on this daily for the rest of your life and still be lacking the faith and understanding mainly because it’s GOT to be too good to be true. BUT, it is all here for us …daily, through whatever life may bring us, no matter what that issue is, good or bad. Amazing!
This year Kathy and I would like to bring you some tools that you can develop within your own life to help you be all you can be, and grow in wisdom, knowledge, and power to do and be all this.
When we are home and not with you I am working with a team at our Youth With A Mission (YWAM) campus in Salem, Oregon to develop a staff Pastoral Care program. Through this we are coming up with tools to help us to personally develop our strengths in all these areas to deal with the stresses, issues we face as humans, male and female as they differ greatly on how they face and approach these things in life. We are only four weeks into this and have with us a gift of seven staff participants, four gals and three guys, willing to sort of be our guinea pigs along with the four of us leading this project. (Three guys and two women. The three of us guys are married, and the two women are single, and we cover all the generations. The ages and marriage status of the entire project group is a complete mix of each generation today)
As this year plays out whether we have time allotted for a Chapel or not I will have on hand a printed form of these tools to hand to you somehow. One excellent way is to simply tell Kathy or me that you want a copy and we will make sure that you always receive one. Our prayer for you and this year is that it is a successful one filled with all the Blessings of the Lord that He can pack into it.
